This month, Jlounge Natural Nail Bar & Spa celebrated being open eight glorious years. It has been exciting and challenging as we’ve added services, created a line of products (JL ESSENCIALS), stocked our boutique with great products (mostly local!) and continued to do our best to offer our clients top-notch services and more. As we look back, there are a few milestones we wanted to highlight. Please take a moment to check them out and celebrate with us!
Jan 8, 2013 – Jlounge founded – Woohoo! We are the only natural nail bar and spa in the Boulder area. No harsh chemicals or smells at Jlounge!
2013 – from the beginning, we’ve been a strong supporter of our community. Over the years, we’ve supported: Imagine, Bridgehouse, There with Care, Safehouse, Venus de Miles, Listen to Your Mother, Longmont Humane Society, Lafayette YMCA Splash Event, efaa, Sophie’s Neighborhood and many more.
2014 – Jlounge wins Boulder County Gold! We’ve gotten first place for the past seven consecutive years! (Thanks for your votes & support!)
2014 – founded Jlorganics, our very own plant-based, clean skincare line
2015 – Amelia, our lead esthetician and acupuncturist, celebrates 2 years with Jlounge and continues to bring great services to our clients. (Amelia is still a part of the team as we celebrate our 8th anniversary!)
2016 – we love to shop & support local, too! We continue to expand our retail space and bring in different brands. Some of our favorites include – Zeta Leoni, Ramblin Girl, James and Jezebelle, Sweet Mana, Radiant Malas and more.
2017 – rebranded our skincare line to JL ESSENCIALS and added CBD-infused products; also started offering CBD-infused facials and other treatments
2017 – expanded mani/pedi stations – that’s a lot of fingers & toes!
2019 – JL ESSENCIALS recognized as Best CBD-Infused Skincare Products by the Daily Camera’s Boulder County Gold People’s Choice Awards – TWO YEARS IN A ROW (2019 & 2020). Yay!
2020 – quite a year! Masks on, socially distanced having some Good.Clean.Fun. Won Best of Boulder Gold again!
