Receptionist
Join the fun, energetic team at JLounge! We are looking for an experienced reception professional who wants to grow with us.
The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about the spa industry. You should have customer service experience in a busy spa or retail environment, work well within a team, learn quickly, and have strong follow-up skills.
As the first point of contact for JLounge clients, you will embody our core values by greeting and assisting guests in a polite, welcoming, empathetic, professional, and patient manner. You will help create a seamless, elevated customer experience while supporting the operational flow of the spa and boutique.
The role requires accuracy when booking and confirming appointments, strong knowledge of our services and products, and regular attendance at department and staff meetings.
We are looking for someone energetic and warm who wants to take on more responsibility over time.
Job Description:
- Answer phone calls and respond to voicemail and email messages.
- Schedule appointments, manage daily schedules, and send confirmations.
- Act as the first point of contact and information centre for guests.
- Check guests in and out and process all daily transactions.
- Manage client accounts and assist with scheduling.
- Sell retail and skincare products.
- Complete housekeeping duties, including laundry, refreshments, retail recovery, and stocking.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed and remain productive during quieter periods at reception.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong work ethic.
- Friendly, professional, and a team player.
- High level of customer service and sales experience.
- Experience with G Suite, Excel, and POS systems.
- Experience with Booker or Mindbody software is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or higher, with relevant work experience.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and multitask.
- Able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, planning, and hospitality skills.
- Availability that meets the needs of the business.
- Retail experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills, including light Excel use, web-based email, Mac, PC, and G Suite.

Hours:
Part-time with the opportunity to grow with the company | Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday with typical shifts between 8.30am-2pm or 1-7pm.
Pay:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour

Licensed Esthetician/Massage Therapist

We are currently looking for a part-time Licensed Esthetician and/or Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. Candidates who are licensed in both disciplines are especially encouraged to apply, but we are also very happy to hear from experienced professionals specialising in either esthetics and or massage therapy.

Job Description:
- Consistently perform high-quality services according to JLounge standards.
- Complete guest consultations prior to treatments.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of all treatments, services and products used.
- Prepare treatment rooms for guests and ensure they are clean, stocked and ready for each service.
- Perform esthetic services, massage therapy services, or a combination of both, depending on licence and experience.
- Ensure treatments are timed correctly and guests remain on schedule.
- Clean and reset treatment rooms after each guest.
- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and expectations.
- Recommend appropriate products and services where relevant.
- Work to build customer retention, repeat bookings and client requests.
- Complete opening, closing, side work and weekly responsibilities as required.
- Maintain a positive, professional and can-do attitude.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must hold a current Colorado Esthetician Licence and/or Massage Therapy Licence.
- Candidates licensed in both esthetics and massage therapy are especially encouraged to apply.
- Previous spa experience is highly preferred.
- Massage Therapists should ideally have a minimum of one year of professional experience.
- Estheticians with advanced training in dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and gentle peels are preferred.
- Experience with facials, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, peels, body waxing, Brazilian waxing, lash lifts and microneedling is preferred.
- Relevant certifications must be held where required.
- Training will be provided for the right candidate where appropriate.
- Must follow all local and state licensing and certification laws and regulations.
- Must be reliable, dependable and punctual.
- Must have flexible availability and be able to work weekends and evenings.
