As of 5pm on February 18th, we have updated our mask policy in accordance with the update from Boulder County Public Health (BCPH). Here are the details:

Our Jlounge team will continue to wear masks. Our clients can choose if they would like to wear a mask or not while at Jlounge. Please note that the BCPH still strongly recommends individuals 2+ wear an N95 or equivalent medical-grade mask while indoors. 

We will continue to follow state and county guidelines and will keep you updated. Additionally, BCPH strongly recommends a layered approach to preventing the spread of COVID-19 including:

• Getting vaccinated and boosted – if you’re not already, it is strongly recommended to get vaccinated and boosted.
• Wearing a mask – BCPH recs that individuals 2+ wear an N95, KN95, KF94 or equivalent medical-grade mask while indoors and consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings.
• Washing your hands – Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand rub that contains 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
• Staying home if you’re sick – If you feel sick (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, fatigue, body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell or sore throat), stay home and get tested. 

Here are some additional COVID precautions that we will continue to follow at Jlounge:

Staff vaccinated: As of August 6, 2021, all of our staff have been vaccinated. 

Plastic Partitions for Manis: We are keeping up our plastic partitions for manicure clients. 

High Standards of Cleanliness: We will continue to maintain our high standards of cleanliness with a regular and thorough cleaning schedule throughout the day with hospital grade sanitizer. This includes cleaning and sanitizing after each client.

Air Purification: We’re continuing to clean the air, too. We have an iWave air purification device that kills viruses on contact. When air passes over the iWave, ions produced by the device reduce pathogens, allergens, particles and odors in the air, creating a healthy environment without producing any harmful byproducts. Also, if it’s nice out, we may open the door. 

To keep our clients and team members safe and healthy we will continue to follow the COVID-19 precautions based on input from Governor Polis, Boulder County, DORA and client feedback. We appreciate your continued support and compliance of these precautions.
