Amelia Vargas L.Ac., LE and Esthetician Team Lead

Amelia Vargas, L.Ac., LE is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Esthetician with over 20 years of experience in holistic health, integrative skincare, and East Asia medicine. Born and raised in Boulder, Amelia knew at just 13 that she was called to acupuncture, inspired by early exposure to natural healing and the body’s innate ability to restore balance.  

While studying Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Amelia earned her Esthetician license in 2003 as a practical way to support herself through school. This quickly became a genuine passion, especially for holistic esthetics, where she discovered how Eastern medicine philosophies integrate with advanced skincare. This unique dual foundation has shaped her into a practitioner known for blending ancient healing principles with modern aesthetic therapies.

Amelia has advanced training in facial acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, craniosacral therapy, and Acutonics vibrational tuning fork therapy. At Jlounge, Amelia combines acupuncture, electroacupuncture, vibrational tuning forks, microneedling, and holistic skincare to support women’s health, digestive and immune function, stress and anxiety relief, pain reduction, and natural aesthetic rejuvenation. 

Her work is gentle, intuitive, and grounded in the belief that true wellness and beauty begin within. As one of Jlounge’s original practitioners, Amelia is deeply connected to the spa’s philosophy and community, offering a full spectrum of services while also educating fellow holistic providers in integrative microneedling.
